Supporting you in understanding yourself, your relationships, and moving toward meaningful change.
How can I support you?
-
Together, we can explore the emotions and experiences that shape how you understand yourself and your relationships. Whether you are struggling with overwhelming emotions, painful experiences, or a difficult period in your life, therapy can help you make sense of what you are going through, develop greater compassion for yourself, and find new ways of responding and moving forward.
-
Couples can become caught in cycles of conflict, distance, or disconnection, even when both people care deeply about the relationship. In therapy, we look beneath the conflict to understand the emotions, needs, and vulnerabilities that shape how each person responds to the other. Together, we work toward greater understanding, emotional responsiveness, and a more secure and connected relationship.
-
Family relationships can be deeply meaningful, but they can also become strained when parents and children feel misunderstood, unheard, or caught in recurring conflict. In therapy, we explore the emotions and experiences that shape these relationships and create opportunities for greater understanding, communication, and connection. Together, we work toward healthier ways of relating in which both parents and children can feel heard and valued.
-
Traumatic and distressing experiences can continue to affect how you feel, think, and respond in the present, even when the events happened long ago. EMDR therapy helps you process these experiences so that the memories can become less emotionally overwhelming and no longer have the same hold on your present life. Together, we work with the thoughts, emotions, and physical responses connected to these experiences, helping you move toward a greater sense of calm, self-understanding, and freedom in the present

Item dMindfulness-based therapy can help you develop a different relationship with your thoughts, emotions, and physical experiences. We learn to approach each moment with greater awareness and a beginner’s mind, noticing what is happening without becoming caught up in it. You can begin to recognize that thoughts are not necessarily facts, and develop greater freedom in how you respond to difficult thoughts and feelings. Through mindfulness practice, you can become more aware of your moment-to-moment experience, develop greater emotional balance and self-compassion, and relate to yourself and your experiences with more clarity.escription

Hope, connection, and change are always possible.
Hi, I’m Jasmine.
I’m a Registered Social Worker, and counselling has been at the heart of my work since I began my social worker career in 1999.
I support individuals, couples, and families navigating emotional and relational challenges. My work draws on Emotionally Focused Therapy, trauma-informed psychotherapy, EMDR, and mindfulness-based approaches. I am a Clinical Fellow of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.
Originally from Hong Kong, I offer therapy in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
